I would like visitors to a site to be able to create a new login and BE logged in as a result.
IMHO this is the key stumbling block to any type of authentication system, since *almost* all other login issues can be handled by filters (such as initializing sessions). This seems like crucial functionality because of the confusion involved in having a user create a login - then finding out that they are not logged in as a result. Please - any ideas?
