Yes, I had problems with the Tomcat Service in 3.2 and 3.3, but 4.0 works very well.

The service installs but will not start and generates no error. The servlet will run standalone on the same machine and seems to be working correctly. This is the first time I have ever worked with Tomcat as the previous version of my application did not use servlets. I have gone over what scant documentation that comes with Tomcat and also what was provided by my application vendor which was also fairly thin many times and re-configured till my eyes hurt.
