I think you're right. It certainly looks like my best chance of getting this 
up and running in time. Its a shame though. I'm sure there must be a good 
way to do this on linux with one installation, but without documentation I'm 
struggling. If I ever do figure it out properly I'll write it up and submit 
it for the docs. The impression I get is that most people are now using 4x 
anyway.

I'll go ahead and install another copy grom the .tar.gz.
