I noticed that you will receive the following error if you do not have a GlobalNamingResources element in your server.xml file for Tomcat 4.1.2. IMHO, this tag shouldn't be required because sometimes you might not having anything to put in that section. i.e. I want to use JNDIRealm, not the UserDatabaseRealm, therefore, I don't really have anything that I need to put in that section.
