There used to be binaries for a number of platforms (including Solaris 6 and 8) on the jakarta/tomcat site, but apparently they're not there now (it looks like this change happened when the new versions of Tomcat and Jakarat-Tomcat-Connectors were put up there). For example, if you go to: http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-connectors/jk/ it says: This directory will be shortly populated with nigtly and release buillds of the mod_jk connector for Tomcat 3.3 / 4.x Similar for: http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-connectors/webapp/ > On Thu, 2002-06-27 at 03:05, Jan-Willem Goedheer wrote: > > Hi Sean, > > > > I tried the binary version for Solaris 8 on my Solaris 7 system but it > > didn't work but perhaps I did something wrong, but did it work on your > > system (and do you also have Solaris 7)? > > > > Jan-Willem > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Sean M Alderman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > To: "Tomcat Users List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Sent: Wednesday, June 26, 2002 3:35 PM > > Subject: Re: building mod_jk > > > > > > > I seem to remember seeing something in this list about mod_jk not > > > working properly with jdk 1.4.
