I haven't built mod_jk on my own, but i was surprised to see javac in the output.
I thought all jar files that are needed are part of the distribution that let me think, that to build the native part in jakarta-tomcat-connectors/jk/native is enough. (Obviously I think to much) It sounds as if either the util tree is not build or the tomcat-util.jar is not found (does it exist somewhere in the connector tree ?), when the jk tree is compiled.
