Hi all, I am having a problem deploying a .war file using tomcat 4.0.4 on RH 7.2, using IBM's 1.3.1 JDK.
Let me explain, I am using Jbuilder6 as the IDE, this comes with tomcat 4.0.1, and Suns jdk 1.3.1. Using a windows box all I have to do to deploy the .war file (Apache soap incidentally) is drop it into webapps/. And restart TC. Or use the manager app. On linux, using tc 4.0.4 with the same paths (referencing the same dirs & .jar paths obviously different for linux) I get nothing using either the steps for the manager app. Nor by dropping into weapps and restartin as for tomcat 3.x. When using the manager application I get file not found for the manifest file in the .war file. ?
