STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM : 1.Install the above JDK via RPM 2.Install log4j via RPM 3.Install commons-logging via RPM 4.Attempt to install Tomcat 4.1.19 (beta 2) via RPM EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR : No dependency errors (other than commons-logging, which obviously you shouldn't include in the JDK).
