May be a stupid question, but I'm new to Tomcat, and don't even know what a "connector" is. :-( I can't compile jakarta-tomcat-connectors-jk2-2.0.1-src.tar.gz from jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-connectors/jk2/release/v2.0.1/src/ , because it has not some directories in this archive, as ant said. So I additionally have downloaded http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-4.0/release/v4.1.12/src/jakarta-tomcat-connectors-4.1.12-src.tar.gz and found it more consistent. Should I merge both distributions in order to compile it? Is the jakarta-tomcat-connectors-4.1.12-src.tar.gz just an API declaration, and jakarta-tomcat-connectors-jk2-2.0.1-src.tar.gz a concrete implementation of one of the connection protocols?
