Hi all,
I'll first claim that I've never tried this.
However, I've been using MySQL as a service for quite a while,
and there is something very important when installing mysqld-nt
as a service.
You _must_ use the full path to the executeable when you install
it or it is just completely broken.
So, even if I am in c:\mysql\bin and can run mysqld-nt --install
from that directory, DO NOT DO IT.
So c:\tomcat\bin\tomcat.exe --install ???
How about giving that a try ?
Cheers,
-- jon
PS: Where is the much vaunted tomcat.exe ?? It wasn't part of my
install, however I didn't tick "install as service" because I
didn't want to do that.
