Hello, A while ago there it was noticed that, when using a secure connection (i.e. SSL and browser certificate), tomcat sends some headers that prevent caching.
Back than it was doubted if this is a good thing or not (I think it is not), this was in version 4.03. It was then decided to make this behaviour configurable.
