And also, just because they are different web apps doesn't mean
they are different hosts.

Provided it's all addressed by:

www.myhost.com/webapp1
www.myhost.com/webapp2
and
www.myhost.com/webapp3

Then you should be fine.

Caveat: I've not used the Tomcat 3.x series in recent times.
