Dear all, I am using Tomcat 4.06 and sun jdk1.3.1 on win32 ( I use linux at home ;-/ )
When a post is received by the doPost(...) method, servletInputStream.read() blocks until all the bytes (up to the "Content-Length") have been sent by the client. Is it possible to read bytes on the ServletInputStream as and when they arrive? Can this behavior be achieved by just sending the correct HTTP headers? Or should I somehow get Tomcat to stop buffering the requests bytes? Perhaps you could tell me where in the Tomcat sources that this buffering is performed? Any help much appreciated, James. ===================================================== T: +44 (0)1179081253 (Direct) M: +44 (0)7855598712 F: +44 (0)1179081394 E: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This communication is intended solely for the addressee and is confidential.
