Our shop is using Tomcat 4.0.5 and Apache 1.3.27 on FreeBSD with mixed results. Apache can be brought up and down with the normal 'apachectl start|stop'. Tomcat can be started normally via the startup.sh script but when the shutdown-sh script is run there is a burst of error messages from the parsing of server.xml.
I am confused as to how no errors occur when I "./startup.sh" the Tomcat server but the shutdown.sh script has problems with server.xml format. Don't both scripts actually deal with the same server.xml? Bob Tilley -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
