Has it better performance? > Not yet -- it's only just being developed. The initial focus was to add the new features of Servlet 2.4 and JSP 2.0, and they need to be shaken out. There are also some code refactoring changes that have been discussed on the developer list, but not implemented yet. There will undoubtedly be milestones along the way, but it won't be released for general availability until the servlet and JSP specs go final (they are currently in Proposed Final Draft state) sometime next year.
