I did not change anything in 4.1.12. No XML parsing. Same Windows machine, same memory.
If I revert back to 4.0.3 it works fine and faster than 4.1.12. My test cases are very simple (by design to find reason it is slower)... most use no 3rd party libaries, a couple use log4j.
