Mostly there should be some other reason for its getting klled than this. we need to explore the exact reason and not be preoccupied with a thought that it is because it is not able to dissociate itself with input/output filestreams or terminal dissociation. Is there any other daemon on this solaris bos which runs fine, I mean does not die on closing the invking terminal.
