I can't vouch for the tomcat implementation meeting the criteria set for on that web page. That is probably a question for the dev list. It sounds like if it was coded without IPv4 references, it should just work.

IPv6 is a jdk1.4 feature, that is not availble on Windows (due to
problems with the IPv6 support in the OS). I'd guess tomcat will work
with IPv6 if you get JDK1.4 on Solaris or Linux.
