Hey all,

I am having troubles with Tomcat exiting randomly.

Currently, the tomcat process keeps exiting randomly. Unfortunately, there
is nothing put into the logs that shows any type of fault.

Basically, it may run for a short period or a long period and then the
tomcat process just stops/aborts without any errors. I may not be looking in
all the right places. I have checked catalina.out and the ajp logs for any
signature of a fault I even looked in in the system log. I got nothing.

Can anyone advise where else I might look?

My server.xml configuration only runs a service element that only offers the
AJP1.3 Connector, there is no stand-alone service element.

I have another server that runs a similar config just fine. But there is
less memory on the problem system 256M versus 384M. Could I be experiencing
an out of memory abort? Could the OS be killing it?

I have yet to run in debug, that is what I am starting right now.

System:

OS - Solaris 8
Catalina - 4.0.6
JAVA = 1.4.x
