Actually most of the responders here are charming, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. I think the gist of the responses is that the current poster is not. People don't expect that all users will be knowledgeable or charming. But they at least expect consideration. Messages with subjects like "Why won't anyone help me?" or "Urgent, urgent, urgent." are not considerate and are pretty much guaranteed to be ignored. That's particularly true when someone does it over, and over, and over. An infinite whine loop.

Because he's another charming tech personality that is obviously telling you to go use coldfusion instead of tomcat. I guess he thinks he's above all your silly little mortal questions. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Burrus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, February 04, 2003 2:25 PM To: Tomcat Users List Subject: RE: Why won't anyone help me out?? Hi Jakob, I just gotta respond back to your posting w. the obvious question of you: Why do you necessarily recommend to me that I start to "check out" Macromedia's Cold Fusion product??! How would that help me get over this problem with being able to execute a jsp/servlet in the Tomcat container? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
