Um... What is jiggery pokery?

Accessing a JSP inside the WEB-INF hierarchy can be done quite easily using a servlet tag in the web.xml file.

<servlet>
<servlet-name>HiddenView</servlet-name>
<jsp-file>/WEB-INF/views/HiddenView.jsp</jsp-file>
</servlet>

<servlet-mapping>
<url-pattern>/views/HiddenView</url-pattern>
<servlet-name>HiddenView</servlet-name>
</servlet-mapping>

This is useful, for example, for adding a level of indirection between controllers and views.

Ps: you can't actually access jsp files from inside the WEB-INF directory (at least not without some involved jiggery pokery). WEB-INF is for the configuration files, class files, beans, deployment descriptor etc.
