I have tomcat 4.1.18 running with Apache 2.0.43 and mod_jk2.0.43 running
on Mandrake-Linux 8.2.
Once upon a time I had tc 4.1.12 running stand alone on W2k and it
worked fine, but I am having loads of trouble getting it going on Linux.
My latest error is:
The requested URL /ParidonWeb/authenticate was not found on this server
and try as I might, I can't figure out why. The set up is very similar
to what I had before, with the exception of running it with Apache and
mod_jk this time.
Can anyone suggest a web site(s) or a book(s) for someone just learning
the apps listed above that can step me through this stuff? I've visited
a few but none had the combo of the apps I was using. I hate to bother
the list with such basic questions.
btw, John, your fix for the local/internet problem worked great! Thanks.
