Hi, I'm currently using Tomcat 4.0.6 with IIS 5.0 on Windows 2000. Have just upgraded to 4.1.18 and am having some problems in my web application obtaining the name of the remote user in my servlets/struts actions using the HttpServletRequest method, getRemoteUser().
In 4.0.6 this works fine. In 4.1.18 when the coyote AJP13 connector is used, I can no longer obtain the remote username. Can anyone explain what may have changed since 4.0.6 that would cause this. Also I wondering if there is any undocumented attribute that I need to specify in the server.xml to turn this faeture back on. Thanks Rob
