Hello everyone, What I've done is try to modify my classpath to get a package working. Basically, javac could not find servlet.jar. So what I did was at a shell prompt, I entered CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:/path/to/J2EE/jars
Now Tomcat will not start, displaying enumerable java.lang.NoClassDefFound. In the future, what should be contained in the classpath for a standard Tomcat install? Am I even on the right track as to the cause? TOMCAT_HOME, CATALINA_HOME, and JAVA_HOME are set and tested.
