hi again just some quetions more
allways its necesary to put your *.jsp , *.class files or yor application tree on this directory? i mean webapps/ROOT/
what exactly are JkMount /*.jsp ajp13, JkMount/servlet/* ajp13 directives used for? does it mean that i should create a directory called "servlet" on the apache directory tree?
always is it required to create the WEB-INF tree ? and where should i put it? apache's directory tree or tomcat's directory tree
thanks for the answers or any hint that you could give me sorry for these newbie things German Luis
German,
Make sure the test.jsp is under Tomcat's ROOT directory. >webapps/ROOT/test.jsp

hi everyone im starting whit these things
just try to find an answer but i havent found it yet im testing this configuration: apache1.3.27 mod_jk tomcat4
when i try to do this http://localhost/test.jsp
i get
TOMCAT 4.18 ERROR 404 --NO AVAILABLE
/test.jsp resource not available
o followed all the steps on the howto's --Directives on httpd
--mod_jk (both ; bin and built from source)
--workers.properties
so i think is something you might know. there are something to do whit server.xml and web.sml in CATALINA_HOME/conf
I use LinuxRH7.3 tomcat4.18
thanks in advance
