Understood...my point was that learning something new can be a daunting task, and there is no reason to make it more difficult than it has to be by using an environment that may not be stable.

I'm guessing that it isn't the alpha state of tomcat5 that is the problem here, but the fact that Mattias hasn't uncommented the servlet mapping for the invoker servlet in CATALINA_HOME/conf/web.xml. This would be an issue whether he were using a release version of Tomcat like 4.1.24 or 5.0.
