i am a student and am using tomcat 4.1.18. i have a question regarding file security. i want to protect files or sites fomr an unauthorized user. when ever a person clicks on a link or a file in the root directory it sud ask for a user and password. is it possible with tomcat? i am not sure about this. please let me know as soon as possible since it is creating problem in completeing my project.
