Howdy,

>to keep Tomcat as my JSP and servlet container? Because we are using
Oracle
>we have in place the Oracle Apache server already. How horrific would
it be
>to move files to it?

You mean the Oracle Application Server? Do do you mean an Apache web
server talking to an Oracle database?

You need a container that's compliant with the Servlet Specification,
v2.3, so that it can run your servlets and JSPs. So the Apache web
server by itself is not enough for you.

>Are there any considerations I need to be aware of in the move?

Do a move to a test server first. Hopefully you have Ant deployment
scripts, so deploying to a new environment should be a breeze. Be aware
of where the server logs are, so that you can inspect them when you need
to.
