So you would make your webapp container-specific?

If you wait for tomcat5, you can do this via JMX ;)

If you want to do it with tomcat4, search the archives: I answered this
question and gave a code example (getting the Server, then the Hosts,
etc.),
about a month ago.  It should be in the list archives.
