Howdy, Define "safely" ;) What attacks did you have in mind? If you're going to tie the Process streams from Runtime.exec to your JSP's streams, that's a potential risk. There are several others. Keep in mind that your JSP is supposed to serve a request, not be some long-running interactive process.
