I have installed the SSL support for Tomcat 4.0.4 and almost everything works.
I followed all the guidelines from http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.0-doc/ssl-howto.html <http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.0-doc/ssl-howto.html> But for instance when I type https://localhost:8443/ <https://localhost:8443/> into my browser it works, my Internet Ms-Explorer 6.0 shows me the Certificate form in order to accepted it, on the right-bottom area an lock-icon appears telling me that this transaction In under Secure guide but on the next page, the lock icon disappears.
