I've searched the archives and couldn't find this issue but if it has been discussed could someone point me in the right direction.
I have a tomcat 4.0.4 install on windows2000 server with iis5. It is setup with ajp13 (isapi_redirector.dll) so that iis forwards pages to tomcat along with integrated authentication. This is an intranet application only so this works great for us. We just installed tomcat 4.1.24 (i think thats the rev) on a similar machine with iis5. We have the redirection working fine it seems, however the authentication is not coming across. When i call request.getRemoteUser on the first machine i will get DOMAIN\USERID. When i call it on the newer machine it returns null. When we look in the iis log it knows who we are, and looks like the request is being dispatched to the isapi-redirector.dll, which seems right because we are getting the requested page handled by tomcat, but no authentication was sent along with it. Any ideas?
