You can use TOMOYO 2.5 on linux-3.0.2. Please see http://tomoyo.sourceforge.jp/2.5/chapter-3.html for instruction and http://tomoyo.sourceforge.jp/2.5/patches/tomoyo-2.5-backport-for-3.0.patch for patch to backport. I'm currently refreshing patches in http://tomoyo.sourceforge.jp/2.5/patches/ using linux-3.4-rc1 which contains several bugfixes.
