Ok, i am probably just too lazy/stupid to figure this out myself - but
could somebody please help me out with a short description of how to create
an ElTorito boot image like the ElTorito.288 in the web archive ?
I would like to add a few files to the initrd.gz (sfdisk and a trivial
shell script that walks a user through partitioning the harddisk and
restoring the system from an archive on the CD).
I have already tried loop-mounting the image, unziping, modifying and
re-ziping the initrd, but i cannot get lilo to rewrite its boot sector
on a loop-mounted device.
Using unpack.s on the original ElTorito.288 image does not get me much
further, because it is not clear to me how to modify buildit.s to accomodate
the initrd stuff...
TIA,
Martin
