From: BROWN Nick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> This topic has gone rather aged by the time I got back from vacation, but... There are loads of utilities out there which can read/write file to Mac volumes - either floppies or SCSI hard drives - under Linux. They don't need anything doing to the kernel, AFAIK. Visit www.debian.org, for example, and check through the packages. I think you're looking for something call "htools", but in any case it's in the "Stuff that works with other OS types" section. At the very least this will be a pointer you can use to find the individual utilities on the Web, if you can't use the .deb distribution format (hint: a .deb file can be expanded with 'ar').
