There has never been a version of tomsrtbt that would load /usr on a 4meg
machine. There was always just a contorted kludge that took about 15
steps and required repartitioning the hard drive to get at it. It is now
dropped. If you want to run on a 4meg machine, follow the instructions in
the BootDisk howto and glean tips from links from my page, basically, you
can use stuff from tomsrtbt, but put the kernel on a diskette by itself
and put the root filesystem native on a second floppy without using any
ramdisks. It isn't hard. It will be slow since you will be running from
floppy directly. At some point I may be interested enough to do it, but I
wouldn't hold my breath. Again, it isn't hard, just copy the kernel to
one disk, copy the files you want to the other disk, set rdev. Much more
simple than the way tomsrtbt works. _Tom
