I'm not sure where else to turn, but I figured if anyone knew where I could quickly download what I need, someone here would. A while back I switched over from ext2 to the e2compr filesystem. This weekend I had a lot of problems running the debian update; I think, but am not sure, that somehow debconf got set to running with the defaults (the ten times I tried it the other way didn't work, but this way did, without telling me when it did it) which meant the next time lilo got updated, it updated my lilo.conf and my boot block without asking. I had a very old lilo boot disk around, but my filesystem had been modified somewhat, even though I wasn't using the e2compr system except on a few files (however, it's there on both / and /usr, so I can't get to the kernel images). I need a current boot disk with the e2compr 0.4 mods. Any idea where I could get something like that? Phil
