There actually is some automatic completion, it is just totally not
bash-compatible key binding, but the keybindings are *changable*, see:
man ile
and play with it.
REQUEST FOR CONTRIBUTION:
Somebody please make a bash-like .ilerc for me and I'll distribute it so
that it works more like bash. I personally don't use automatic
completion (without a good rationale), so I'll probably never figure this
one out and make it work.
