I picked up v.1.7.205 from ftp.toms.net/rb just to have a go. I wonder
what the status of this is ... it would be very irritating for you to
receive criticism of a product that was neither believed nor intended to
be totally tested and bug-free (well, buglet, at most). On the other hand,
it might be offered for precisely that purpose. So: here goes:
I was really keen to try md5sum. Querying man md5sum says that md5sum
takes 0 or 1 argument. I tried all three of
md5sum <Enter> hangs until press <Ctrl-C>
md5sum <filename> <Enter> excellent
md5sum <wildcard> <Enter> gives md5sum of one file in
directory (earliest in some
sense?)
Maybe v.1.7.205 is not intended even to be available, in which case I am
sincerely sorry for trespassing: on the other hand, if you invite and
welcome comment (constructive) then I will only too happily play some more
...?
