Mailing list messages and digests are available through majordomo by email
using commands such as "help" in the body of a message sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] But, there is nothing in the digests except for
messages that are archived individually anyway, digests in the archive are
a redundant waste of space, and when I notice digests going into the
archive I delete them. The digests are purely a way to have fewer but
larger email messages when subscribing to the list. There is nothing in
the digests that is not already there in the individual messages. You
can, however, retrieve both the list messages and the digests using the
majordomo interface, which is much more primitive than the web archive.
