I'm using: tomsrtbt-1.7.205.tar.gz While trying to make a tar backup of the windows directory of my Winbox onto vfat (hard drive), tar (pax) crashed while making the archive. At first I thought it might be some kind of weird vfat-filesystem bug, but I took a RTBT disk to work and successfully made a tarball of my work computer's windows directory. The work computer has a much smaller windows directory, however. Back home again, I decided to shoot the tarball to the internal IDE tape drive and tar crashed at exactly the same spot. On my Linux-box, I use afio to backup that system and I have that program working within the RTBT. Using afio, I had no problems backing up the windows directory to tape or to vfat. My windows directory is a tad over 540 megs, but tar crashes far before that. Douglas Bollinger Mt. Holly Springs, PA My other computer runs Linux.
