It is worth mentioning that I am the author of a Linux rescue / recovery
distribution, not a book, and that although it is a tool that can be used
for rescuing Windows-98, it is mostly for repair of Linux systems.

Windows-98 is a product of the Microsoft corporation, and in fact, they
charge for the product, (which is more than I do for tomsrtbt), so I have
to assume they will also provide support for it.

You can get my operating system (tomsrtbt-Linux) (which runs from floppy
diskette, and doesn't care a whit about your hard drive) for free from:
http://www.toms.net/rb/. I will be glad to provide support for tomsrtbt.

You can reach microsoft support at http://www.microsoft.com/support/, and
they can also be reached by telephone at 1-425-635-7222 for support of 98,
and they even say they give you 2 support calls at no charge! Good luck.
