The APA1480 is in the add-ons directory, not the base image.

It will never be included.  It is 4 times as large as most of the other
scsi driver modules, it it 116K, for comparison, the qlogic pcmcia scsi
driver is 9K.  When and if they re-write the driver so it isn't bloated
by a factor of 13, it might make it in.

The specifics of supporting it are unfortunately beyond my expertise, that
is, I don't have such a PCMCIA card, so I can only go so far.  You may
need to read the PCMCIA documentation and/or the source code for the
driver.  My conjecture is that the driver in my add-ons directory is fine
and will operate your card, if configured correctly.
