I have compiled rsync for tomsrtbt.
If someone would like to package it for add ons, I'll mail it.

I needed a way to duplicate a working test machine to
several similar machines, and someone suggested
linuxcares bootable business card and rsync.
This sounds good, but these machines don't have
cdrom drives.

someone also suggested tomsrtbt, but didn't suggest
any method of duplicating the system. I looked into
rsync and was Very Impressed. I recomend rsync
to anyone needing to syncronize, mirror, backup, or
duplicate systems over a network.

I now have a great bootable floppy from which I can
completely duplicate a working debian linux system.

In case anyone is interested, the system I am duplicating
is a Machine Shop DNC system that runs on DOS(emu)
("booting" from a "smbfs" network "drive") with a second
console into AS/400 using TN5250, a third console
running lynx (for other data inquirys). All running on
486 with 8 meg. These systems sit idle 99% of the time.
Yet people still ask why don't I upgrade.
