 It was announced here 2000-08-31 by Albrecht Kleine. I use it on my system
even though it's not really optimised for use on a slow console (read serial
console). Small, nice and works fine with CR+LF files.

 Looks nice but comes out at 70KB+ on my system linked against
libncurses.so, libc.so & ld-linux.so.2.
