Because it has known bugs and broken things.  The real question is how I
have managed to not get another release done in so long, when I knew the
problems with .205 a long time ago.  .205 is beta because 1.7.185 is still
better if you don't need the ext2fs patch in .205, it has less broken
stuff, even though it is missing features. -Tom
