I'm trying to move an existing RH7 installation onto an additional IDE controller (It's a cheap IDE RAID card, and I can report back on this if anyone's interested). Problem is that what was /dev/hda is now on /dev/hde, and tomsrtbt doesn't have that device so I can't address the HD. I tried doing mknod /dev/hde b 33 0 but linux doesn't know what I'm talking about (I get "Unable to open /dev/hde"). Any ideas ?
