[tomsrtbt] libc5

Hi,
I'm trying to use toms-libc5 but without success.
I install it - and got It works.
I set CC as described in README, tried to $CC hello.c -o hello
as in install script - it works
(It is on Slackware 7.0)
Nice.
But when I try to compile anythihg else, (util-linux-2.11a,
cdparanoia, ...) it is still linked with libc6?
What am I doing wrong? Is it important to edit somethinhg else?
What exactly (I'm just a begginer :-) )?
