Thanks for the help so far, now I've got a flash ram to boot in tomsrtbt with NFS
drive mounted at startup! :)
I've also skipped the keyboard testing screen, but how can I skip the login prompt
too? I've tried to remove the last section in rc.custom but it doesn't work.
hmm 2 more minor things:
1.
I have set "/dev/hda1 / ext2 default 1 1" in fstab, but /dev/hda1 is mounted on /mnt
where /mnt is not exist! also /dev/ram1 is shown to be mounted on /, and as I see the
content of / is my hda1, what's the problem?
2.
The settings.s seems to be skipped, I have ". /settings.s" in rc.M and copied the
files to /, but never saw the penguins when I boot up, what's the problem?
