I'm not sure what brand of floppyt drive I have; it came with my
vintage-1998 Dell (P2/350). Does this help?

I have a 1992-era 486 with a Teac floppy drive, but that's what I was
hoping to run Linux on. I could try the DOS install method with that,
I suppose.
